No body can blame the tigers, elephants and the national park authorities There are also many bird watching opportunities available in this park, over 580 species of birds are recorded here and amongst them more than 50 species are of resident and migratory birds. Peacock, Kaleej pheasant, black partridge, Pallas’s fishing, eagle, white collared falconet, stork billed kingfisher, wall creeper, brown fish owl, brown eared and black bulbul and several species of woodpeckers and parakeets are some of the attractive birds found in the Corbett National Park. The avifauna is interesting and diverse because of the overlap between the high altitude and the plains. Most of the water birds are the migratory birds and arrive in winters. Some of them are the graylag, bareheaded goose, duck, grepe, snipe, sandpiper, gull and wagtail. The closest of the various gates into the Corbett national park is on the road to Bijrani camp. Dhangarhi Gate is 18-kms along the highway in the north of Ranikhet, which provides access to the northern and northwestern portion of the Jim Corbett Park.

Always take a company of a Nature Guide for spotting the wildlife and the scenic landscapes.
Drive slowly in the National Park. Enjoy the elephant and jeep safari but avoid the disturbance to the wildlife.
Maintain a safe distance from the animals and keep their life undisturbed.
Do not put on your car stereo or transistor. The quieter you are, more is the possibility of your watching the wildlife.
Consumption of non- vegetarian food and alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the national park.
Don’t get off your vehicle at a point where it is not allowed.
Always keep the park pollution-free and litter free by disposing off the whole garbage into the bag provided.
