The international yoga week is celebrated annually at Rishikesh. This festival offers an ideal opportunity to learn yoga and practice it to keep oneself fit and fine. People come from different parts of the world to take part in the International Yoga Week of Rishikesh. Parmarth Niketan, in association with Uttaranchal Tourism, organizes this festival in the month of February/March. It is basically a Yoga Camp, where people are taught various forms of yoga like Hatha Yoga, Raj Yoga, Karm Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Juana Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Laya Yoga, etc. The camp is held on the banks of the holy river, Ganga.
